The Co-Chair of the Citizens Movement Against Corruption Edem Senanu has described as stunning the denial by embattled suspended Chief Executive of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Agyenim Boateng Adjei.
The suspended PPA Boss in a brief interview claimed the allegations of corruption captured in the “Contract for sale” expose are untrue saying he is being “crucified for doing nothing”.
Agyenim Boateng Agyei was speaking in an interview with the press after meeting the Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu over the allegations.
Speaking in an interview with Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive, Co-Chair of the Citizens Movement Against Corruption Edem Senanu said the claims of the embattled PPA CEO are insulting emphasizing “does he think we are not intelligent enough”.
Edem Senanu described the PPA Boss’ stance as “defensive bravado” that “will not get him anywhere”.
The Anti-Corruption Campaigner said the PPA Boss is digging a deep hole for himself with his comments on the allegations against him.
The PPA Boss was captured on tape confirming he partly owns Talent Discovery Limited (TDL), a company alleged to be engaged in winning restrictive tenders under questionable circumstances and selling the resulting contracts to other companies.
Edem Senanu wondered whether the PPA Boss is denying that he was the one seen granting an interview to Manasseh Azure in the expose.
