Radio personality, Afia Pokua believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will pay dearly for actions by the Communications Minister and the National Communications Authority(NCA).
The National Communications Authority (NCA) has begun some punitive measures against Persons who have failed to register their sim cards.
The move is to force them to re-register their sim cards as the deadline approaches.
Some persons have genuine concerns about their failure to re-register their cards as the Ghana Card used for the registration process has not been provided to all Ghanaians.
But the Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu believes that it’s prudent to unleash some punitive measures because that will force them to re-register their sim cards.
Reacting to the complaints by Ghanaians, Afia Pokua who works with Despite Media said the government will pay dearly for its actions.
She explained that for a government that wants to break the eight, this high-handed measure to force Ghanaians to re-register their sim cards will cost the New Patriotic Party in 2024.
