Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lambasted the President Akufo-Addo led administration, describing it as a “catastrophe”.
He says President Akufo-Addo’s performed poorly to the extent that even witches and wizards from his village have realized the same.
“Even the witches and villages from Kyebi say catastrophe, NPP’s Akufo-Addo Bawumia catastrophic scent ‘agye bebiaa’ has spread everywhere, the NPP catastrophe performance in government has been so repugnant that their own party could not stand the stench of their own rotten government, they started what looks like a cleansing and deodorizing exercise by demanding the sack of Ken Ofori-Atta as Finance Minister”, he said.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo made this remark while speaking at the 10th National Delegates’ Congress of the opposition NDC held at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo, who was seeking re-election, lost his Chairmanship position to Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, who has been the NDC’s General Secretary for 17 years.
Mr Asiedu Nketiah will now lead a new crop of executives to lead the NDC into the 2024 general elections.
