Head Coach of Tamale City FC, Hamza Mohammed, has stated his side’s play-off defeat against Nsoatreman FC was an unfortunate defeat that prevented them for securing an early ticket for premier league.
Coach Hamza, acknowledged that that loss helped his team to prepare effectively for the promotion games for premier league.
“What happened against Nsoatre, I remember telling the guys that, it’s only Allah who knows why it happened that way”.
“Because it was difficult for me myself to accept it, judging from the game plan and the way we played that day”.
I was able to manage the boys to the dressing room and from the dressing room to the car, was very difficult”.
“We told ourselves that, we did all our best and didn’t happen. There’d always be next time, lo and behold, we had that next time and this time there was no way we could fail and disappoint ourselves knowing what happened against Nsoatre”.
Tamale City has thus secured promotion to the BetPawa Premier League after a promotion playoff in search for AshGold’s replacement.
