Communications Minister Ursula Owusu has hinted that the Telecos will come after persons who have taken quick loans from the telecos and have decided not to register their sim cards.
Several Ghanaians owing QUICK LOANS have deliberately decided not to register their sim cards so their sim cards will be blocked and their debt will be forgotten.
But speaking at a media engagement Sunday, Ursula Owusu who is the Minister in charge of Communication indicated that such persons will be fished out.
She described their action as evil corruption.
“I have also been informed that some people who have obtained quick loans from their service providers have decided not to register those SIMs to avoid repaying the loans. That is evil corruption and you will be found out.”
Meanwhile, the Sim Card Re-registration deadline has been extended to September 30 to make room for all Ghanaians to re-register their sim cards.
