It appears despite her public apology and serving a suspension for her comments against New Patriotic Party (NPP) footsoldiers, Presidential Staffer Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor has not been forgiven by the footsoldiers of the ruling party for her comments after many months, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
Ms Donkor, who is number 114 on the list of 998 staffers is also a leading member of controversial girls group PepperDem where one of her works, “The audacity of an exaggerated penis power” is seen as women’s manifesto.
Several NPP footsoldiers upon hearing of Carol Donkor’s new ambition to be Member of Parliament for Tafo Pankrono have vowed to make sure they teach her a lesson since she can’t stand them.
Apart from social media comments, personal interviews MyNewsGh.com conducted revealed footsoldiers still nurse a grudge with her.
” Footsoldiers adanfo…… U go hear ur dwee for here”
“Massa, it won’t fly Please return the brown envelope na the work you have decided to do is too big for you”, somoene replied to her team member.
“Footsoldiers won’t vote for her. She should forget it.”
Our readers will recall our lead story last year in which the presidential staffer at the Office of the President, Flagstaff House, incurred the wrath of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) footsoldiers on social media over comments she passed on a post denigrating the ruling party’s footsoldiers.
Ms. Donkor wrote in response to a post about not dealing with footsoldiers as a principle that she “can’t reason with them (footsoldiers)”. She advised her friend: “You shouldn’t” deal with them. “It’s like tribalist”, she added.
She later apologized for her comments but was nevertheless suspended by the Office of the Chief of Staff for some weeks.
Napaga Tia’s ‘nonsense’
Months ago, MyNewsGh.com reported how another presidential staffer, one Napaga Tia Sulemana said the ‘nonsense’ where party footsoldiers meet her at programs with their CVs must end in 2017.
She received wide flak and was consequently reprimanded internally by the Presidency for her highly insensitive comments, even if it was a joke taken out of context. She also apologized.
Dr. Akoto Osei bows out
The Member of Parliament for the Tafo-Pankrono constituency in the Ashanti Region Dr. Anthony Osei Akoto announced he will not contest the ruling party’s upcoming primaries for the 2020 polls.
The Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation who is considered ‘redundant’ in the Akufo-Addo government made his decision known to the party’s constituency executives at a meeting held in Kumasi.
Constituency Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Moses Donkor in an interview with Ultimate FM’s Isaac Justice Bediako confirmed the news.
Many prospective aspirants have since popped up including Louis Carol Donkor, who is set to face-off with her party’s footsoldiers.
