A financial Analyst Nii Yaboi Annan says the E-levy would make no difference to Ghana’s economic struggles.
The Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led Government is pushing for the E-levy as the saviour of the Ghanaian economy as it would rake in over ¢6billion.
The E-levy has also been sold as the panacea to youth unemployment, infrastructural development, growth in Agric sector and the non-payment of arrears.

Nii Yarboi Annan however says the suggestions being made about E-levy cannot be true.
According to the Financial Analyst the E-levy is in the budget and adds up to the ¢100billion revenue expected from the budget.
Speaking to Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive, Nii Yarboi Annan said only ¢1.6billion would be left of the ¢100billion after government honours its debt servicing obligations and pays compensations.
Nii Yarboi Annan wondered how the ¢1.6billion left would be able to cater for critical expenditure in the budget and do all the things being promised by government officials.
