The Vehicle and Asset Dealers Assoictaion of Ghana (VADAG) is convinced former President John Dramani Mahama will fulfil his promise of scrapping the luxury vehicle levy.
The former President in a recent outing described the tax as unhelpful and indicated his commitment to repealing the act that introduced the levy and scrapping it.
Speaking to host of the Gold Power Drive Sena Nombo, General Secretary of VADAG Clifford Ansu says the group has reason to believe that the former President will fulfill his promise
He cited late President John Evans Atta Mills promise to banker to banker operators as basis for this belief.
Clifford Ansu expressed disappointment over the treatment he and his colleagues have received from the current government.
He believes the current government will not getting any applause from them even if they decide to scrap the luxury vehicle levy.
