It is folly to keep Ken Ofori Atta in office.
That is the verdict of Dr. David Pessy in the wake of the sacking of the Chancellor of the United Kingdom Kwesi Kwarteng.
The UK Chancellor was fired after 38 days in office because of the opposition to his mini budget.
Speaking on the Mother of All Talk Shows Alhaji & Alhaji, Student of History and Politics Dr. David Pessy says the development in the UK raises serious questions about the continued stay of Ken Ofori Atta in office.
Dr. Pessy said unlike Kwesi Kwarteng, Ken Ofori Atta can be directly blamed for Ghana’s economic difficulties.
He said the current challenges Ghana is confronted with continue to compound because of Ghana’s unprecedented debt.
According to Dr. David Pessy Ken Ofori Atta is directly responsible for Ghana’s debt situation because he directly benefitted from the borrowing that he has undertaken.
He said Ken Ofori Atta cannot be given the task of fixing a problem he created himself.
