Resignations are by themselves considered self firing by employees who face the sack because of their actions.
That has however not worked in the case of resigned Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri as he was fired yesterday by the Youth and Sports minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
The Sports minister in the letter dated 3rd September, 2019 revoked the 2017 appointment of the resigned NYA CEO.
The decision Radiogoldlive.com understands also affects the two deputies Chief Executive Richard Obeng and Bright Acheampong Officers who are the latest victims of the questionable multimillion cedis contract to train youth in street light repairs.
There have been calls for the Board of the Authority to be dissolved and prosecuted in a similar vein as the dismissed CEO who is being investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor and the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice.
